The National Universities Commission (NUC), has commenced the accreditation exercise for the College of Engineering, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).
LASUSTECH Information Unit in a statement today, stated that each department in the College begins the process with a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.Olumuyiwa Odusanya, and other members of university management.
The exercise kicked off with the Department of Agriculture and Bio-Systems Engineering, followed by Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
Also present during the sessions were the Deans of all colleges, Heads of Departments and members of staff from the concerned departments, the Directorate of Academic Planning, the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, and representatives from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
The statement said that the accreditation which will continue throughout the month, reaffirmed LASUSTECH’s commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.
